This carefully detailed and illustrated book provides the reader with an understanding of the history and development of the Shire. Because the Trayning experience is typical of other wheatbelt shires, the reader comes away with a broader understanding of the region’s development. The authors spent over 20 years researching the book, drawing on a wealth of information, maps, figures, papers and personal recollections of early settlers. This allows the reader to understand and experience what life was like as an early pioneer and farmer of the land. To obtain a copy please Contact Us at the Shire of Trayning.
