Shire of Trayning Election Notice 2025

Notice is herby given that the Ordinary Meeting of Council previously advertised for Wednesday 17 September 2025 has been changed to Wednesday 10 September 2025, commencing at 4:00pm. Notice is also herby given that the Ordinary Meeting of Council previously advertised for Wednesday 15 October 2025 has been changed to Wednesday 22 October 2025, commencing at 4:00pm.

24th of July- The Shire of Trayning has been notified that a convoy of 53 road trains will be passing through Trayning on the Nungarin-Wyalkatchem Road at the estimated time of 10am

KEY OUTOMES FROM 2025/2026 BUDGET ADOPTION Council adopted the 2025/2026 Budget including Fees & Charges at its Ordinary Meeting on 16 July 2025. Council would like to take this opportunity to advise the Public & Ratepayers with some of the key information as adopted:

The Trayning & Districts Sporting Club is temporarily closed until further notice. This is due to maintenance repairs to the building. We apologise for this inconvenience and will have it back up and running as soon as possible.

Advocating for Support of Our Local Kununoppin Pharmacy

Please be advised that Council has received several complaints in relation to vehicles using the path through the Trayning Tree Library as a thoroughfare. Can this practice please be discontinued as the area is prohibited to vehicles, other than for maintenance purposes, and is for pedestrian traffic only.

Shire President Cr Melanie Brown would like to formally advise the community that Council has chosen its new CEO on a three year contract commencing on the 19th May.
